Lucy & Wesley’s Central Coast Elopement

As a Central Coast Wedding photographer, there is nothing I love more than when couples travel to the region, fall in love with it and decide it is the perfect spot to tie the knot! This is exactly what happened with Lucy and Wesley. In 2024 Lucy and Wesley decided a Central Coast elopement was on the cards. After a long chat, they settled on eloping in Patonga. And my word, did they make the right decision!

Located in the Peninsula of the Central Coast, you’ll find Patonga. A sleepy little town over looking the Hawksbury River surrounded by mountains. This is exactly how Lucy and Wesley felt their elopement should look. As avid rock climbers, being in nature is where they feel at home, so finding a location that spoke to them was super important and exactly why Patonga spoke to them.

Lucy and Wesley eloped with 4 of their friends and their two dogs at Patonga House, which has some of the most jaw-dropping views of the region. After a super short and sweet ceremony, they had time to spend with their friends before we headed off to the portraits.

Being a December wedding, we unfortunately were not lucky enough to catch the golden hour. But we still managed to create some beautiful portraits along the cliffs’ edges.

After the elopement, Lucy and Wesley spent a further 3 days exploring the region, hiking and taking it all in slowly before they headed on a honeymoon road trip with their two dogs.

As a Central Coast elopement photographer, I love seeing all the different ways couples bring their visions to life. There is no right or wrong way to elope or have a wedding. We all have different visions, and being able to witness the ways that we all want to celebrate our love is a pretty special thing.

If you’re looking for a Central Coast wedding photographer, I’d love to chat about your day and see how we can bring your vision to life!
